Job Summary:

The Business and Technical Consultant / Officer role provides the PMO with both functional operating knowledge of the business as well as the technical expertise in the technology and automation plan for banks and how both can be executed in a seamless process to achieve positive project results.

Key Results or Performance Indicators:

  1. Seamless integration of business processes and its technical conversion to automation.
  2. Full assistance to project management teams in terms of functional and technical expertise.
  3. Successful integration of business processes with new system acquisition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provides support in defining project structure, goals, and requirements.
  2. Provides theoretical, managerial, and technical skills to fulfill identified project objectives.
  3. Helps provide a solid project management strategy for tasks inter-dependency.
  4. Provides alternative solutions in managing risks, contingency, and mitigation plans.
  5. Helps provide periodic review updates to make sure projects are on track.
  6. Advises project managers in properly allocating tasks to team members.
  7. Assists the project manager in ensuring that the scope and schedule of the project are within the given budget and time.

Competencies / Skills Required:

  1. At least 10 years exposure to project implementation and integration managerial work.
  2. Accountancy, IT, and Business Analyst certifications.
  3. At least 10 years exposure to the banking industry planning and operations position.
  4. Must have handled a minimum of 10 financial institution projects in automation.
