Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- In charge of annual budget planning process, monthly forecast process end to end and long-term planning process for the Philippines and ANZ market.
- Ensure forecast accuracy, complete & timely submission, together with supporting schedules, comments, and analysis.
- Track and monitor and perform monthly financial performance analysis against budget/forecast and provide analysis on risk and opportunities in a timely manner.
- Partner with the Country General Manager and APAC Commercial Manager
- Provides senior management with regular insight into the commercial performance of Philippines and ANZ market in a succinct & precise manner. Provide inputs as needed by Regional Finance for their reports / updates to Corporate.
- Provide critical support to the assigned market in the following key areas, like trade & consumer spending tracking & control, general & administrative expense tracking & control, and institute measures to ensure spending efficiencies.
- Together with the sales & marketing teams, develop sound profitability SKU analysis, pricing & margins structure for all products sold in the assigned market.
- Be finance lead of commercial innovation and projects, to provide commercial insights with business acumen, ensure projects and business delivery.
- Coordinate and advise on the finances by ensuring availability of working funds, efficient collection of receivables and timely payment of payables.
- Provide advisory to the assigned markets on matters pertaining to commercial / trading terms & other rules of engagement.
- Provide other strategic / critical support needed by the markets - ie, operations advisory, in-market logistics, distribution expansion, etc.
- Review monthly balance sheet and developing internal control guidelines, policies and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and contract financial terms review.
- Compliance with local, regional, and corporate policies. Lead team for internal/external financial audit, tax filing and relevant project.
- Accounting, Book Closing, Statutory accounting, and reporting
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Professional certification (e.g. CIMA, Chartered Accountant or ACCA).
- Possess at least 15 years of relevant finance experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years senior level work experience in Finance or Accounting
- Ideally with experience in Food-related/ FMCG industry
- Demonstrate critical/strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities that can be actionable.
- A change agent who can work collaboratively to influence stakeholders to implement new processes and reports.
- Able to work with tight deadlines with a strong level of accountability to "make things happen."
- Effective written & verbal communication, leadership, presentation & mentoring skills
