The Junior Auditor plays a key role in supporting internal audit activities across the restaurant group. This includes performing audits of branch operations, inventory, cash handling, and compliance with company policies. The role helps ensure accuracy, integrity, and accountability in financial and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct branch audits (announced or surprise) focusing on:
  • Cash handling and daily sales reconciliation
  • Inventory levels, spoilage, and wastage monitoring
  • Compliance with SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Store cleanliness, safety, and operational checks
  • Assist in the review of financial documents (receipts, invoices, petty cash, expense reports)
  • Verify stock transfers, supplier deliveries, and documentation accuracy
  • Identify areas of risk or process weaknesses and recommend improvements
  • Assist with investigations involving losses, discrepancies, or reported irregularities
  • Document audit findings and prepare clear, timely reports for management
  • Help track resolution and follow-up on audit recommendations
  • Support year-end and quarterly audits with finance or external audit teams
  • Maintain audit records and ensure confidentiality of findings

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Financial Management, or related field
  • 0–2 years of work experience in audit, accounting, or finance (fresh grads welcome)
  • Background in food & beverage, retail, or restaurant operations is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Can handle fieldwork (visits to branches) and shifting schedules if needed
  • Good communication and report writing skills
  • Willing to travel to different branches in Metro Manila or nearby provinces

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
