Graphic & Web Designer

We're a fast-growing Canadian furniture brand seeking a talented and detail-driven Graphic & Web Designer to shape our brand's visual presence across digital platforms. From social media graphics to high-performing web assets, you'll help us craft engaging, on-brand content that resonates with customers and enhances the online shopping experience. This is a key creative role within a collaborative team that values design excellence and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design
- Develop and execute design projects from concept to completion for a range of channels, including digital ads, promotional materials, packaging, signage, email marketing, and social media.
- Create compelling visual content that aligns with brand guidelines and communicates our message effectively across all platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, E-Commerce, and Sales) to produce design assets that support business objectives and campaigns.
- Produce high-quality graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other tools as needed.
- Support corporate branding initiatives by developing and maintaining consistent visual identity and brand assets.
- Stay ahead of design trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to marketing and branding strategies.
Web Design & Development
- Design and manage website content and visuals within the Shopify platform, including homepage layouts, product banners, collection pages, and promotional landing pages.
- Work closely with the team to ensure the site is visually compelling, on-brand, and optimized for conversions.
- Use Shopify's theme editor and content management tools to update and maintain pages, navigation, product imagery, and on-site messaging.
- Ensure all web assets are responsive, fast-loading, and optimized for mobile and desktop experiences.
- Collaborate on UX/UI improvements, implementing strategic updates to enhance customer journeys and user interactions.
- Assist with the creation of digital content to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and blog features directly within the Shopify ecosystem.
- Monitor website performance and user behaviour using tools like Google Analytics and Shopify's built-in reporting to help guide design decisions.
Project & Brand Management
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of branding strategies and seasonal creative direction.
- Organize and maintain a clean digital asset library for use across departments.
Additional Duties
- Provide design input and creative direction for product packaging and print production.
- Participate in photo editing or retouching as needed.
- Other design-related tasks and cross-functional support as assigned.
Qualifications:
years of experience in graphic and/or web design, preferably in an e-commerce or lifestyle brand environment.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Figma, Canva, or similar tools is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Shopify.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both graphic and web design skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for brand development and digital innovation.
