Lathe Machinist

Technical expertise: Knows in operating manual machines, with a strong knowledge of tooling, cutting techniques, and different materials.

Machine proficiency: Experience with manual machines is essential.

Blueprint literacy: The ability to read, understand, and work from complex technical drawings and specifications.

Precision and detail-oriented: A sharp eye for detail to ensure high-quality, precise parts that meet strict specifications.

Problem-solving: The analytical ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery, materials, or programs.

Physical stamina: The ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as needed in a manufacturing environment.

Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.

Certification requirement: A trade certificate in machining or related field is required.
