PHP 3,220,000 + commission

Responsibilities

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will:

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and solution architect for customers during the sales process.
  • Evangelize Akamai's technologies to acquire new business and grow revenue.
  • Manage the technical proposal process, ensuring recommendations and technical information accurately address customer requirements.
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements and develop solutions including proposals, designs, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen customer relationships and act as the primary technical contact.
  • Partner with Business Support, Sales, Engineering, Product Development, and Technical Support teams to resolve issues during trials, integrations, or post-implementation support.
  • Accurately scope implementation timelines for integrations.
  • Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Review configurations with Professional Services team members to ensure quality and compliance with customer requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 6–7 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, sales engineering, consulting, or customer-facing role delivering technical products or services.
  • Strong expertise in cybersecurity and internet technologies, including API security, content delivery, web architecture (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing, Kubernetes, storage solutions, and developer tools.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and securing AI assets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-changing environment.
