Job Overview:

The Security Engineer will play a crucial role in building, maintaining, and supporting the Copeland Product Security Program. This position involves a cross-functional collaboration with product development teams, providing consultation and expertise on security strategies, and ensuring the security of both hardware and software products throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Security Testing & Reporting:

  • Conduct black-box reverse engineering of hardware and firmware.

  • Perform vulnerability research and exploit development.
  • Execute fuzz testing on various product components.
  • Reverse engineer protocols to identify potential security weaknesses.

  • Penetration Testing:

  • Conduct manual penetration tests on mobile applications (iOS & Android), web applications, cloud infrastructure, and network systems.

  • Threat Modeling & Collaboration:

  • Facilitate and lead threat modeling sessions with Copeland's application, infrastructure, and product teams to identify and mitigate security risks.

  • Security Training & Outreach:

  • Deliver security training to internal development teams and promote a security-first culture across the organization.

  • ICS/OT Security Analysis:

  • Perform security analysis of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments related to product manufacturing.

  • Supply Chain Security:

  • Assess and evaluate the security posture of hardware and software supply chains to identify vulnerabilities.

  • Documentation & Metrics:

  • Maintain thorough documentation of testing results, security assessments, and program performance metrics.

Our goal is to protect our clients from evolving cyber threats. We specialize in securing integrated environments that combine IT, OT, and physical security domains.
