Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Security by design and Zero Trust implementation

  • Design, implement, and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices.

  • Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware such as antivirus and endpoint protection software.
  • Develop secure networks and systems to protect data and infrastructure.
  • Implement security controls like encryption and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

  • Monitoring and incident response

  • Monitor systems and networks for security breaches, vulnerabilities, and threats.

  • Analyze security logs and alerts from platforms like SIEM to identify potential issues.
  • Respond to security incidents by identifying, isolating, and mitigating threats.
  • Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures.
  • Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
  • Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to find and fix weaknesses.

  • Risk assessment and compliance

  • Perform security assessments, audits, and risk analyses to identify potential security risks.

  • Propose and implement risk mitigation strategies and solutions.
  • Ensure the organization's security measures comply with relevant policies, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST or ISO 27001)

  • Policy, training, and automation

  • Develop and document security policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Provide security guidance and training to internal teams and educate staff on security awareness.
  • Automate security tasks and responses to improve efficiency and detection capabilities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any IT-related course

  • At least 3 years of working experience as System Administrator for Wintel platforms

  • At least 1 year of experience working with different security tools

  • At least 1 year of experience in designing and implementing network infrastructure

  • At least 2 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting virtual infrastructure

  • Knowledgeable in Security Information and Event Management, Privileged Access Management, Threat Intelligence, and Zero Trust platforms

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems

  • Willing to travel on implementation
