Direct Buyer

  • Responsible in Material Requisition Planning (MRP) requirement.
  • Provides clear to build status to Production Planning by providing material delivery commitments.
  • Expedite with suppliers in cases of demand upsurge and pull-ins.
  • Negotiate on cancellation and push out to minimize liabilities and excess inventory.
  • Ensures continuous production support by monitoring deliveries as per system update and escalation of any vendor decommit.
  • Performs basic purchasing task such as timely closure of shipment discrepancies, price variance, vendor rejects and maintaining system parameters current.
  • Use the most reasonable and cost-effective way of shipping parts thru proper coordination with Logistics and Materials Planning.

Supply Chain Analyst

  • Analyze the Bill of Materials (BoM) for all New Product Introduction (NPI) models scheduled to run in the Laguna factory.
  • Ensure an effective mitigation plan is in place to maintain supply chain flexibility during the transition to mass production.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments, primarily Project Management, Design Engineering, and Global Component Engineering, to ensure all identified risks are mitigated.
  • Provide Advance Buy recommendations for all major or critical models or customers.
  • Conduct sourcing reviews with Project Management, Business Management, Design Engineering, Purchasing, and Planning.
  • Participate in kick-off and exit reviews to understand and update the current issues, directives, and model status.
  • Check for new suppliers or manufacturers, customer-dictated manufacturers or MPNs, and customer-banned manufacturers or suppliers.
  • Inform Purchasing and Customer Service of any potential risks.
  • Support the Localization team with administrative tasks and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related course
  • Minimum 3 year of working experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in Oracle, Basic Purchasing, Commodity Management, Purchasing systems, Supply/Demand
  • Must have the ability to work in a cross-cultural team, assertive, team player, and flexible
