PRIMARY JOB ROLE

The Warehouse Assistant partners closely with the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor to support both warehouse and store operations, ensuring a seamless flow of merchandise, accurate inventory management, and timely delivery to designated store or branches.

YOU WILL

(Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following):

  1. Ensure accurate stock profiling and optimal use of space across warehouse and in-store stockrooms to optimize efficiency.

  2. Assist with receiving deliveries, unpacking items, and conducting quality inspections to confirm merchandise is in excellent condition.

  3. Observe the First In, First Out (FIFO) policy for perishable items, such as fragrance and cosmetics.

  4. Identify and immediately report any discrepancies or damages in merchandise, and coordinate with the Warehouse lead for appropriate action.

  5. Ensure all price tags are correctly and securely attached to items to avoid inconsistencies.

  6. Assist in regular inventory counts, audits, and variance investigations.

  7. Maintain a systematic documentation of incoming and outgoing merchandise, including stock transfers, reservations, and pull-outs.

  8. Help in managing reserved merchandise and comply with reservation policies.

  9. Oversee store maintenance and window display installation after store hours to secure the safety of the merchandise.

  10. Participate in opening and closing clearing procedures, ensuring all access points are secured alongside the on-duty security guard.

  11. Monitor storage conditions of merchandise to prevent damages and spoilage.

  12. Keep the warehouse and stockroom clean, safe, and well organized.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

Education

· At least Senior High School or Vocational course graduate

Work Experience

· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably in retail

Competency / Training / Skills Required

· Solid background in inventory management, warehouse systems, and logistics

· Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

· Physically fit and able to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting or movement of goods.
