Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or higher; must be knowledgeable in Philippine laws and regulations (Bar passer preferred).
  • Extensive work experience in internal corporate compliance or legal affairs
  • Strong ability to draft, review, and manage legal documents and contracts with clarity and precision.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments on complex legal issues.
  • Capable of working independently, exercising sound judgment, and managing emergencies effectively.
  • Deep understanding of business models and industry operations to provide relevant legal support for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice to ensure compliance of all company activities with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts and legal documents involving clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Conduct legal research and keep departments updated on changes in laws and regulations.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing company policies for legal compliance.
  • Manage legal disputes, liaising with external counsel and representing the company in legal proceedings.
  • Provide legal training to employees to reinforce compliance policies.
  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and assess legal risks, recommending strategies to mitigate them.
