About the Role

We are a global climate technologies company focused on sustainability, innovation, and high-performance systems. We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team and support the development and optimization of data pipelines, analytical systems, and data warehouses.

This role is essential in transforming and delivering data across systems, ensuring reliable performance and data accuracy to support business intelligence, analytics, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & Development

  • Design and develop scalable data solutions for transformation and integration across various systems.
  • Build and maintain efficient, reliable data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as Pentaho Data Integration.
  • Ensure optimal storage and retrieval of data from platforms like Oracle, SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Implement and troubleshoot batch and real-time data ingestion processes.
  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality code following established standards and SDLC practices.
  • Use programming languages such as Python, Java, etc., for data processing.

System Analysis & Solution Design

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate functional/technical requirements.
  • Propose simplified, scalable solutions to support business needs.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure data accuracy, quality, and successful implementation.
  • Continuously improve system performance and efficiency.

Service & Project Delivery

  • Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational or technical challenges.
  • Define and meet delivery timelines for assigned projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
  • Strong experience with relational databases (SQL) and data warehouse platforms (Oracle, SQL, Snowflake).
  • Proficient in data modeling, mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Skilled in developing and managing data pipelines using Pentaho or similar tools.
  • Experience with both batch and real-time data ingestion frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics tools, Kafka, Spark, or Scala is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Python, Java, or similar languages.

  • Ability to work across cross-functional global teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in process mapping and managing multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions in ambiguous environments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
