Location: Philippines (with regional payroll coverage for PH, SG, AU)
Department: Human Resources / Finance Shared Services
Reports to: Payroll Manager / HR Operations Lead
Role Overview:
The Payroll Advisor is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll across multiple jurisdictions (Philippines, Singapore, and Australia). The role requires expertise in local labor laws, taxation, and social contributions, as well as familiarity with regional payroll practices. This position will also support the organization's transformation initiative by ensuring smooth payroll operations while transitioning from manual processes to automation within the Bill financial operations platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll for employees in PH, SG, and AU in compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
- Ensure accurate computation of salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and final pay.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records, benefits, and statutory contributions.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors for payroll execution and compliance.
- Stay updated on tax and labor laws in PH, SG, and AU.
- Prepare and file government-mandated reports and remittances.
- Address employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Support audits by preparing and validating payroll documentation.
- Contribute to the migration from manual payroll processes to automation by collaborating with HRIS and Finance teams to integrate payroll operations with the Bill platform.
- Participate in system testing, data validation, and process re-design activities.
- Recommend improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR Management, or related field.
- 3-5 years' payroll experience in a multinational or shared services environment.
Strong knowledge of PH payroll, with familiarity in SG and AU payroll practices.
- Proficiency in payroll/HRIS systems and MS Excel,
- Experience in payroll system migration, automation, or integration with financial platforms such as Bill is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php86, Php100,000.00 per month
