Role Overview:

The role of the fixed income trader includes buying and selling fixed income securities for the bank and its clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and execute trades in the fixed income markets for the bank and for its clients in a timely manner
  • Drive fixed income trading revenues while ensuring that all trades comply with all the relevant internal and external rules, regulations, and policies
  • Establish FI lines with other banks
  • Recommend strategies, gathers, and analyzes market and security information that identifies or creates actionable investment opportunities
  • Utilize knowledge of fixed income products and strategies to identify trading opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services
  • Monitor market movements and adjust trading strategies accordingly
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years working experience in Treasury particularly Fixed Income Trading
  • Certified Treasury Professional (BAP), SEC Fixed Income License
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economic or mathematics
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Good to have: MBA, CFA
