Job Responsibilities

  1. Safe Transportation

  2. Operate assigned vehicles (vans, trucks, service vehicles) to transport materials, tools, or personnel.

  3. Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies.

  4. Ensure safety of goods and passengers during transit.

  5. Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection

  6. Conduct daily vehicle inspections (oil, fuel, tire pressure, lights, etc.).

  7. Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.

  8. Keep vehicles clean and serviced on schedule.

  9. Timely Delivery and Route Management

  10. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery or service timelines.

  11. Use GPS and traffic apps to avoid delays.

  12. Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and confirmations.

  13. Customer Service

  14. Communicate professionally with clients, customers, or site personnel.

  15. Ensure correct delivery of items or execution of transport tasks.

  16. Handle minor complaints or report issues to the supervisor.

  17. Compliance and Documentation

  18. Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage reports, and delivery records.

  19. Comply with all legal and safety regulations (e.g., license, insurance, permits).
  20. Assist with loading/unloading if required and ensure secure transport of goods.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license (appropriate for vehicle class).
  • Clean driving record.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • Good communication and punctuality.
  • Physical fitness (for lifting or loading tasks, if needed).

Other Duties;

· Drive RCRCC staff and manager

· Ensure the on-time and safe transport of staff and manager by strictly following all safety procedures and policies

· Drivers are also expected to assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment

· Ensure that assigned vehicles are kept in perfect running condition

· Cleanliness of both outside and inside the vehicle should always be maintained

· Should carry out routine checks on vehicles and ensure they are sound and in good operational condition

· Fulfill special requests for the office by running errands like picking up

· Ensure that the steps required by rules and regulations are followed in case of involvement in an accident

· Drive RCRCC officials, staff, and visitors if needed

· Cleanliness of both outside and inside the vehicle should always be maintained

· Fulfill special requests for the office by running errands like picking up

· Report to the immediate Supervisor/Head in case of an accident

· Perform other duties assigned

· Properly document gas purchases by securing invoice receipts
