The Opportunity:

We seek a dedicated Eligibility and Benefits Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will work closely with clinical staff to verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits. Your expertise in both 'in-network' and 'out-of-network' benefits, attention to detail, and ability to streamline processes will help ensure patients have access to the care they need. This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility for each patient
  • Review patients' background and health history to ensure accurate eligibility determination
  • Ensure adherence to documentation standards and maintain accurate records
  • Create and maintain accurate client profiles by inputting all relevant information into our system
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to obtain necessary information for processing patient claims efficiently
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of client information, making updates as required
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
To succeed in this role you will need:
  • Experience in 'out of network' and 'in network' benefits
  • Must have a background in benefits and eligibility verification for claims on behalf of the provider
  • Knowledge of medical billing processes
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to understand medical jargon
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Service Fee:

Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.

Hours:

US Eastern Standard Time (EST) – 9 am to 6 pm
