Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and refine your financial analysis skills in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Sub-ledger data reconciliation with Cession statements and GL accounts
  • Read and interpret complex contract terms and create cession statements.
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and process transactions in various systems.
  • Create/Download reinsurance remittances program data and standard templates.
  • Audit program remittance statements Calculation accuracy
  • Organize data from accounts submitting requests for insurance and reinsurance.
  • Identify data needs and discrepancies.
  • Ensure data integrity, completeness, accuracy and delivery on a timely manner
  • Communicate issues or queries on a timely basis to ensure quick
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Monitor and analyze actual performance against budget and forecast, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather information and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Support the finance team in ad hoc projects and analysis as needed.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a high level of problem-solving and the ability to resolve issues
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to collect, organize, process, and disseminate significant amounts of information timely
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible with changing requirements and ability to learn new processes quickly
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
