We are looking for a Senior Data Platform & Analytics Specialist to support and enhance our enterprise data platform. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of existing data architectures, data pipelines, and data catalogues, and will play a key role in the migration of data platforms to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role requires hands-on experience with multiple data integration and BI tools, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with data, analytics, and cloud teams to ensure a smooth and efficient migration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand, analyze, and document the current data platform architecture, including data pipelines, integrations, and data catalogues
  • Actively participate in the migration of on-premise or legacy data platforms to GCP
  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs
  • Support and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Informatica and Pentaho
  • Enable and support enterprise reporting and dashboards using MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across platforms
  • Collaborate with cloud engineers, data architects, and business stakeholders during migration and modernization initiatives
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices related to data integration, analytics, and platform optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in data platform, data engineering, or analytics roles
  • Strong experience with Informatica and Pentaho for data integration and transformation
  • Hands-on expertise with MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Solid understanding of data architectures, data pipelines, and data catalogues
  • Experience participating in or supporting cloud migration projects, preferably to
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Ability to work in complex, enterprise-scale data environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

  • Direct hands-on experience with GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow)
  • Experience modernizing legacy BI or ETL platforms
  • Knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools
