Job Summary:

The IT Data Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the IT group's reporting and data analysis functions. This position is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing reporting systems, analyzing IT-related data, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance IT reporting systems and dashboards.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various IT systems.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT units to understand data needs and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Support IT audits and performance reviews with data-driven documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to data collection processes and reporting tools.
  • Train and support IT staff on data-related tools and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and reporting platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data management principles.
  • Experience with IT systems and infrastructure data is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of data accuracy and integrity.
