IT Officer

I. IT Equipment and Maintenance

Maintenance and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software.

Performs regular preventive maintenance on computers, printers, and other IT equipment.

Supports daily backup checks, system interfaces, and basic server monitoring.

Coordinates with suppliers or IT suppliers for hardware/software issues.

Documents IT-related activities, incidents, and solutions for reference.

Ensures availability of IT supplies and reports low inventory levels.

II. Internet and Network

Monitors computer and network connections to ensure smooth daily operations.

Assists in backup and recovery tasks as scheduled.

Reports and resolves internet or network interruptions promptly to avoid service disruptions.

III. Hardware and Software Support

Installs and configures approved software and updates when required.

Provides first-level troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.

Escalates complex technical problems to IT Supervisor or suppliers.

Maintains records of IT issues, resolutions, and system performance logs.

IV. Other Duties

Provides basic training or assistance to employees on the proper use of IT equipment.

Performs other IT-related tasks as may be assigned.
