The
Investment Officer
is responsible in analyzing economic trends, industry developments, and company performance to provide strategic recommendations. This includes conducting in-depth market analysis, preparing reports and presentations, leading briefings, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. The officer supports portfolio managers by performing fundamental stock analysis, building financial models, and evaluating investment opportunities such as equities, bonds, and mutual funds. They also assess and recommend accreditation for counterparties like banks and investment firms, conduct thorough due diligence, and document findings. Additionally, they oversee the management of loans and acquired properties, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring payments, and conducting impairment tests.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, finance or any business-related course.
  • Preferably, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder or candidate.
  • With at least, 1 year experience in investment analysis, Trust and/or investment management in a managerial capacity
  • Has knowledge in Credit, financial; Economic, investment and technical analysis, financial forecasting and modelling; Security analysis and valuation
