About the role

As an Accounting Officer (CPA), you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations, working full-time from our Lapu-Lapu City Cebu office. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting the company's strategic objectives through effective financial management.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  3. Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory reports
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  6. Continuously monitor and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

  1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the logistics industry
  3. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
  4. Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate financial information effectively
  7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
