Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analytics Assistant to support property management operations by generating, reviewing, and distributing accurate reports to property owners and internal teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and proficient in Excel and property management toolsespecially reporting features. This role also requires strong communication skills and a consistent ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

  • Represent the companys mission, goals, and values in a professional and positive manner
  • Provide excellent communication and support to residents, owners, and vendors
  • Maintain communication with supervisors and team members via phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant laws
  • Attend required training and development sessions
  • Document all resident communications and relevant activities in AppFolio by end of day
  • Maintain organized records in AppFolio and Dropbox, including resident data, vendor proposals, contracts, and trackers
  • Offer solutions and insights to supervisors to improve reporting processes

Daily Responsibilities

  • Check and manage schedules and appointments
  • Respond to voicemails and emails within 24 hours
  • Review and update tasks in the AppFolio Activities Summary Report
  • Attend team meetings for updates, troubleshooting, and internal alignment
  • Edit and revise reports based on supervisor instructions

Weekly Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly check-ins with the direct supervisor
  • Generate and update weekly reports for property owners and deliver to Portfolio Managers
  • Review all reports for accuracy and completeness before submission

Monthly Responsibilities

  • Pull comparative market reports as directed
  • Support monthly reporting requests from supervisors for Portfolio Managers and property owners

Annual Responsibilities

  • Assist with annual reporting tasks as needed

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Data Analytics Assistant or similar reporting-focused role
  • Proficiency in property management software (reporting tools preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks

Preferred:

  • Experience in property management or real estate
  • Familiarity with US property management regulations and processes
  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting best practices
