Job Summary:

The Multi-Skilled Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of the company's administrative building, equipment, and facilities. This role requires proficiency in multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance, to ensure that the workplace remains safe, functional, and well-presented in compliance with company standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work within the administrative building and its facilities.
  • Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to ensure the reliability and efficiency of building systems and utilities.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues affecting facility operations.
  • Assist in the improvement, renovation, and upkeep of office areas, equipment, and supporting structures.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with contractors and service providers for specialized repair or project work when required.
  • Work under general supervision, with progress and outcomes reviewed by Senior Management at key project milestones or completion.

Qualifications:

  • At least Vocational or Technical Course graduate in Building Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology (or any related field).
  • With hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and facility repair works.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willing to render overtime or on-call support for urgent maintenance needs.
