What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and quality control plans for construction projects
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing at various stages of the construction process to identify and resolve any quality issues
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality control activities, including non-conformance reports and corrective actions
  • Provide training and guidance to construction staff on quality control procedures and best practices
  • Continuously monitor and improve quality control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, standards, and best practices in quality assurance and quality control

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices in quality assurance and quality control
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and tools
