The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific station in the kitchen, ensuring all food preparations and dishes are executed to the highest standard. The CDP works closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to maintain quality, consistency, and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within the assigned station.
  • Ensure all food produced meets the kitchen's standards for quality, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the workstation at all times.
  • Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and costing when required.
  • Monitor stock levels, request supplies, and assist in inventory control to reduce wastage.
  • Train and guide Commis Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of food quality.
  • Flexibility to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
