Rua Seguridad Corp. is seeking a talented and dedicated Cost Accounting Associate to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and cost information to support business decision-making.

  • Handle costing of importation, including computation of landed costs, duties, taxes, freight, and other associated expenses.

  • Monitor and manage Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and inventory levels to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Conduct periodic inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and implement necessary adjustments.

  • Compute and validate commissions and incentives for relevant teams.

  • Validate and process cash advances and expense liquidations

  • Prepare detailed financial reports for management review, including project-based Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.

  • Assist in month-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a general accounting or similar role, experience in cost accounting is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in financial reporting.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Ability to maintain good vendor relationships and manage financial transactions effectively.

  • Must be amenable to work on-site three times a week in West Ave, Quezon City.

  • Must be amenable to do field work twice a month in Marilao, Bulacan.
