Reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Reporting, the Senior Accounting Analyst helps ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of Intercompany Transactions, Accounts Receivable and Revenue Recognition in compliance with company policies and procedures. The applicant will be involved in month-end close processes to prepare monthly reporting, journal entries and general ledger reconciliations. The candidate is expected to look for opportunities for continuous improvement in accounting processes and controls.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities
You will have an opportunity to:

  • Prepare, record, and upload revenue invoices amidst firm month-end deadlines.
  • Track, record and apply payments for all incoming cash collections.
  • Serve as point of contact for client questions or escalations related to billing.
  • Prepare and analyze complex journal entries and support month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigate unreconciled items.
  • Perform general ledger variance analysis between current month results vs. prior month, prior quarter and prior year.
  • Assist in providing external auditors the information they require to complete the audit.
  • Drive process improvements, process documentation and standardization.
  • Undertake ad hoc improvement projects and analysis as assigned.

  • Task-oriented and must be able to work beyond regular office hours if required.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup); proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • CPA is an advantage
  • At least 4 – 5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Oracle Netsuite is an advantage
