As a General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the company's operations in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and process payment disbursement vouchers (PDVs) and other payment requests.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between the general ledger and bank statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS) and other relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Assist with audit preparations and provide necessary documentation as required.
  • Maintain and update accounting records, both digital and physical, using the company's accounting software.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a significant advantage, with a commensurate salary adjustment.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in general accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable, preferably within the logistics or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
