About the role

As a Data Analyst - Utilization Management at Maxicare Healthcare Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's Utilization Management team. In this full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for analysing data, generating insightful reports, and identifying trends to help drive informed decision-making within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collecting, organising, and analysing data from various sources to support Utilization Management initiatives
  2. Generating comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key performance metrics and trends
  3. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through data-driven insights
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
  5. Leveraging advanced analytical techniques and tools to uncover meaningful patterns and insights from complex data sets
  6. Providing recommendations and proposals to management based on data analysis and findings
  7. Maintaining data integrity and ensuring the reliability of information used for decision-making

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline
  2. 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role
  3. Strong proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools like SQL, Excel, and BI software
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and interpret meaningful trends in data
  5. Familiarity with healthcare industry concepts and terminology, particularly in the area of utilization management
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the success of cross-functional initiatives
