Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in the Supervision of the Floor Supervisors to ensure attainment of the highest standard of cleanliness, orderliness and sanitation of the rooms and other related areas

Monitor the daily preparation of rooms blocked for arriving guest.

Inspect rooms blocked for arriving VVIP/VIP guest and ensure that these rooms are in tip-top condition i.e. the rooms are properly cleaned and made and up, supplies complete the necessary rooms amenities are placed prior to guest arrival.

Spot checks out-of-order rooms, vacant rooms and occupied rooms, room undergoing maintenance work, renovations and Engineering maintenance, and ensure mentioned rooms are put back to order as scheduled.

Coordinate with the Engineering Department re: immediate room repairs needed.

Checks the Floor Linen inventory logbooks regularly and ensures that the stocks of Linens and Guestroom supplies in the Floors stockroom is at par and are arranged orderly and neatly at all times.

Make a complete record of inspection i.e. Guestrooms (blocked, occupied, vacant and long staying guests) foyers, corridors, service areas. Ensures that this is inspected at least once a day to monitor that said areas is well maintained.

Monitors the activities and accomplishment of all the Floor Supervisors and conduct briefing at least once a week or as maybe required.

Makes and prepare schedule of periodical cleaning projects and ensures that the same is carried out accordingly as scheduled.

Keep track of all cleaning equipment (i.e. vacuum cleaners, maids cart, trolley ladders etc.) and ensures that these equipment are properly used and maintained and in good working condition.

Conducts inventory of furniture and fixtures, equipment and other items as required by the Executive Housekeeper.

QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES :

EDUCATION : College degree in related discipline

WORK EXPERIENCE : Minimum of four years in related capacity

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS : With positive work attitude; excellent people

management skills; excellent time management skills; ability to relate to all levels in the organization; ability to work under pressure; with pleasing personality; proficient in computer applications; has know-how in the Hotel operations; good communication skills
