Job Description
The Technology Consultant is a technical resource for Rockwell Automation technology and products within their area(s) of expertise, Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects capability and benefits of portfolio to customers. Deliver proof of concept, after sales support, and is a trusted advisor to the sales organization and channel. They are responsible for technical support in pre-sales activities for a specific range of software products within a defined geography.
You will report to the Head of Technology and Domain Expert group based in Singapore. You will be based in the Philippines.
Your Responsibilities:- You will be the technical product expert and focal point in the region/country for the product range
- You will Facilitate and provide product-based training to the Salesforce and channel.
- Co-operate with the sales team in promoting the product range to all customers with presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, performance tests or similar activities.
- You will Analyze products, have knowledge of competitor's strategy, further define competitive differentiators.
- You will Support market access (Distributor and Systems Integrators) to ensure their capability in promoting the value and demonstration of RA product or technologies
- You will Assist Business Manager in launch of new products to the sales team and channel.
- You will Seek out and participate in both training opportunities to develop technical skills.
- You will Update customers on new products and technology as related to customer's industry and application needs.
- You will Provide product gap and development feedback to appropriate team.
- Share insights with peers.
- You will Communicate with Tech Support on post sales product issues.
- Focus on opportunities that support Rockwell Automation's strategy.
- You will Understand business models, organization and go-to-market strategy, leverage.
- You will have Knowledge of the industry strategies, familiarity with outcome-based selling.
- You will Understand our goals and Indicators of the customer.
- You will Keep sales and customer relationship management data up to date in tools, optimizing activities by using tools.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical related field or equivalent.
- You will have min of 3 years and above relevant experience on Technical and Application expertise and related demonstrated sales experience.
- You are fluent with native language and command of English (Both written and spoken).
- You will work with and gain confidence personnel (internal and external) in a collaborative, matrixed partner organization. You will Align with critical partners.
- You are Supporter of our customer centricity.
- You will Understand the importance of demonstrating concern for satisfying customers.
- You are Passionate about developing goals to improve our customer experience.
- You will have good experience in Automation tools & Software Development - Java, JSON, C#, SDK (Software Development Kits), and SQL Advanced Technology (Bonus)
- You will be good in Programming skills in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- You will Influence and operate across a matrixed organization.
- You will have Values working in a team-oriented culture and building agreement with partners before making main decisions.
- You will pursue personal learning, development of skills in job-related technical and professional areas.
- You will Participate in calls and meetings by phone or in-person.
- Travel to customers within assigned geography will be required.
