A scaffolder is a construction worker who specializes in erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures, which are temporary platforms used to support workers and materials during construction, maintenance, or demolition projects. Essentially, they ensure the safe and stable access for other tradespeople working at height.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Erecting and Dismantling Scaffolding:This involves assembling and taking down temporary structures made of metal or wood, ensuring they are sturdy and stable.
  • Ensuring Safety:A key aspect of the job is adhering to safety regulations and guidelines to protect workers and the public from falls and other hazards.
  • Following Plans and Blueprints:Scaffolders must be able to interpret construction plans and blueprints to position scaffolding correctly for specific tasks.
  • Inspecting and Maintaining:Regularly checking the scaffolding for any damage or wear and tear, and making necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Working with Other Trades:Collaborating with other construction workers to understand their needs and provide the appropriate scaffolding support.
  • Utilizing Various Scaffolding Types:Familiarity with different types of scaffolding, such as suspended, cantilever, or tube and fitting, depending on the project requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php780.00 per day
