Job Brief:

IT Operations Specialist will be responsible for the daily management, monitoring, and maintenance of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures system reliability, security, and optimal performance by providing technical support, implementing operational procedures, and coordinating with other IT team members to deliver uninterrupted IT services.

Responsibilities:

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Monitor and maintain servers, network equipment, and IT systems to ensure continuous availability and performance.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and hardware components.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

IT Support & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to and resolve technical issues raised through helpdesk tickets, calls, or emails.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure efficient use of IT resources.

Network & Security Management

  • Monitor network performance, connectivity, and security.
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Conduct regular data backups, recovery tests, and patch management.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
  • Generate and present system performance and incident reports.
  • Keep inventory of IT assets and equipment.
  • ID Creation
  • Email Request Creation

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend and implement improvements to IT processes, tools, and security.
  • Research emerging technologies and assist in technology upgrades.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–4 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or technical support.
  • Amenable to work on site in BGC Taguig.
  • Can start ASAP.
