MOBILE CRANE OPERATOR

Job Responsibilities:

•Operating Mobile Cranes: Safely operating mobile cranes to lift, move, and place heavy loads, materials, and equipment on construction sites or in fabrication yards.

•Calculating load weights and planning lifts to ensure safe and efficient operations.

•Working with other team members, such as riggers and signalmen, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

•Crane Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.

•Safety Protocols: Following safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

•National Certificate II (NCII) in Heavy Equipment Operation or a related field is typically required.

•Previous experience in operating mobile cranes, preferably in a construction or steel fabrication setting.

•Professional Driver's License: A professional driver's license with restrictions 1, 2, 3, and 8 may be required.

•Physical Fitness: Good physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
