Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Create and apply savory product solutions—including instant noodles, soups, sauces, condiments, dressings, processed meats, ready meals, and plant-based meats—using International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) ingredients.
  • Understand and incorporate functional ingredients such as textured vegetable protein (TVP), isolated soy protein (ISP), emulsifiers, and hydrocolloids into culinary applications.
  • Develop solutions tailored to client briefs across Southeast Asian markets; maintain and update recipes, formulations, and processing reports.
  • Ensure all developments comply with regulatory, religious, and customer requirements, including Global Regulatory Assurance (GRA) and Customer Information Updates (CIU).
  • Manage culinary application projects independently within tight timelines; maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked laboratory in line with IFF's Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
  • Stay current with ingredient innovations and application technologies; troubleshoot formulation and processing issues and provide technical support to customers.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to raw materials and prototypes; initiate scale-up procedures and contribute to category innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with flavorists and the creation team to incorporate approved IFF materials and technologies into applications for proprietary advantage.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business strategies and market preferences; act as a technical partner across functions and contribute to internal trainings, workshops, and solution development.

What Makes You the Right Fit.

  • Bachelor Degree in Food Science and Technology or related disciplines (such as Chemistry, Biochemistry and Human Nutrition)
  • Minimal years of relevant experiences in the food and flavor industry, handling flavors and ingredients with focus on savory/ culinary.
  • Exposure to Snack seasonings.
  • Demonstrated capability in experimental design, detailed results analysis, and sound technical judgement.
  • Sound knowledge in project task and time management.
  • Ability to present in-front of customer.
