
Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the company's operations, projects, and business practices comply with relevant laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies within the construction and real estate industry. The role involves monitoring regulatory changes, conducting compliance audits, preparing reports, and advising management and project teams on risk mitigation and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable construction, real estate, labor, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Monitor and track changes in laws, permits, licenses, and industry standards, and communicate updates to relevant departments.
- Coordinate with government agencies for necessary regulatory filings, permits, and licenses (e.g., HLURB/DHSUD, DOLE, DENR, DPWH, LGUs).
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with corporate governance standards.
- Conduct regular compliance training and awareness sessions for employees and project teams.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and project documents to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Perform compliance risk assessments for projects and company operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards.
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of permits, licenses, and regulatory filings.
- Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure timely submission of reports to regulatory authorities as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory functions, preferably in construction, engineering, or real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., HLURB/DHSUD, environmental compliance, occupational safety standards).
- Experience in handling permits, licenses, and government relations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: Up to Php50,000.00 per month
