NON-NEGOTIABLE:

• 6+ years of experience in SAP Business One functional consulting, with at least 3 full-cycle implementations.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP Business One modules — Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, MRP, and Production.

• Hands-on experience with SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and SAP HANA.

• SAP B1 implementation & configuration, business process analysis, and optimization.

• With experience in client engagement.

Position Description:

As an SAP Business One Expert (Functional), you will play a vital role in delivering end-to-end ERP solutions for CGI's clients across your area of expertise — such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, or Production. You will combine deep functional knowledge of SAP Business One with strong analytical, consulting, and client engagement skills to design, configure, and implement solutions that enhance business performance and deliver measurable value.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technical Consultants, Project Managers, and client stakeholders, to ensure successful, high-quality project delivery aligned with CGI's standards and client objectives.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Business One, focusing on modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Production.

• Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and develop solution blueprints.

• Perform system setup, testing, data migration, and user training during implementation and post–go-live phases.

• Customize and extend SAP Business One functionality using standard tools and best practices.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with third-party applications and enterprise systems.

• Partner with clients to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through SAP Business One.

• Provide functional guidance and best-practice recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and system demonstrations for end users and key stakeholders.

• Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring the proposed solutions address both current and future business needs.

• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.

• Document configurations, customizations, and process flow to maintain solution transparency.

• Stay up to date with SAP Business One releases and new features, recommending enhancements were beneficial.

• Contribute to CGI's knowledge base and solution accelerators, supporting future project efficiency.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of business processes, financial accounting, and supply chain operations.

• Experience with integration tools and add-on development frameworks for SAP Business One.

• AI-literate or eager to explore how AI and automation can enhance ERP functionality and analytics.

• Should not be a job hopper who only stays for less than a year per company

• Must not be a present or former employee of CGI
