About The Role
As an Associate Engineer within Insight's Infrastructure Managed Services team, you will be supporting multiple clients, working on diverse technologies, challenging projects, and be part of the ITSM team responsible for Managed Network incident, service request, change, and problem management

As An Associate Engineer You Will

• Lead drafting and creation of procedural and help documentation writing efforts to assist other team members.
• Lead drafting support methods and procedures, maintains documentation of networks and network systems, and other knowledge documentation as needed.
• Participate in and recommend continual service improvements.
• Analyze data to locate high repeat incidents and find solutions to prevent/fix them.
• Lead problem management and root cause analysis, including drafting methods and procedures to eliminate recurrent incident load as root cause is discovered.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to junior teammates performing ITSM ticket management, and act as an escalation point for tickets that cannot be resolved at another tier.
• As a network SME, partner with professional and consulting services in large project implementations, and lead complex client projects that are fulfilled and owned by Managed Services. Basic understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is desired..

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Computer/Information Science, technical college, or equivalent work experience.
• Significant experience implementing and maintaining network technologies in a mixed vendor environment.
• Demonstrated experience with vendor technologies such Palo Alto, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, ASA, Firepower, Fortinet, F5, and Juniper.
• Demonstrated professional to expert level technology and support experience for route/switch, security, wireless, etc. and maintains one or more professional level certifications.
• Demonstrated expert understanding and practical experience with monitoring and management of SD-WAN solutions.
