Overview

Join a dynamic and detail-driven construction company committed to delivering high-quality projects while maintaining strong financial control and transparency. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who will play a key role in ensuring our financial operations run efficiently and accurately.

In this role, you will handle the complete bookkeeping cycle, from recording daily transactions to preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You'll work closely with the accounting team to support audits, maintain compliance with industry regulations, and ensure that all records are up-to-date and accurate.

The ideal candidate has proven bookkeeping experience, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail, along with proficiency in accounting software and construction-related financial processes. Your work will directly support the company's ability to manage budgets, control costs, and make strategic financial decisions that drive sustainable growth.


Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: PHP 45,000-48,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (with 1-hour break)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and depend on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Accurately record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Generate, send, and track invoices.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies on an entry-level.
  • Maintain a systematic record of financial documents and ensure they are up-to-date.
  • Process accounts receivables, payables, and assist in payroll processing when necessary.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare for audits and other financial reviews.
  • Stay updated with financial policies, regulations, and legislation.

Requirements

  • Proven bookkeeping experience with strong attention to detail.
  • MUST HAVE a Windows OS computer.
  • Preferred experience in the construction industry in the US.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
