Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Transactions:
  • Process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change as needed.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues.
  • Cash Handling:
  • Count the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain a balanced cash register and ensure that there are no discrepancies.
  • Report any discrepancies or suspicious transactions to the supervisor.
  • Sales Recording:
  • Input sales into the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.
  • Keep records of sales transactions, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Customer Service:
  • Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Respond to customer inquiries about products, promotions, and services.
  • Assist customers with bagging purchases and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about current promotions, sales, and store policies.
  • Provide product recommendations or alternatives to customers when needed.
  • Maintain Cleanliness:
  • Keep the cashier station neat, organized, and clean at all times.
  • Ensure that promotional materials and displays are in place and updated.
  • Security and Safety:
  • Follow security procedures to prevent theft and fraudulent transactions.
  • Be vigilant about suspicious customer behavior and report any security concerns.
  • Daily Reports:
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports at the end of each shift.
  • Verify and document any cash shortages or overages in the report.
  • Cash Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile the cash register and ensure it balances with the sales at the end of the day.
  • Deposit cash as instructed by the supervisor or management.
  • Other Duties:
  • Assist with store opening and closing duties, such as stocking supplies or arranging products.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors, such as assisting with inventory checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php11, Php15,000.00 per month
