Job Overview

The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational activities of the BTL agency, ensuring smooth execution of events, activations, and field marketing projects. This role leads cross-functional teams, manages resources, enforces operational standards, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage overall BTL operations, including events, activations, roadshows, and promotional campaigns
  • Oversee project planning, execution, deployment, and post-event evaluation
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency
  • Manage manpower planning, deployment schedules, and field operations nationwide
  • Coordinate closely with Account Management, Finance, HR, Logistics, and Suppliers
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and safety standards
  • Handle supplier sourcing, negotiations, and performance evaluation
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive measures
  • Prepare operational reports and performance updates for senior management
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate operations and project teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in BTL, events, or field marketing operations
  • Proven experience in a managerial or director-level role
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willing to work on-site, travel, and support field operations as needed

  • Strong understanding of manpower deployment and logistics
