Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • Knowledge on latest Engineer Design Software (AutoCad, STAAD Pro/Foundation, Civil 3D, Geo5, SketchUp, MS Office)
  • Knowledge of Steel Frames is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a designer for residential and commercial buildings.
  • Familiar with CODES such as NSCP, ACI, ASTM
  • Sound knowledge of technical drawings and sketches, strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Description:

  • Develop structural designs for residential and commercial projects
  • Conduct structural analysis and calculations to assess building components' load capacities, stability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineering professionals to integrate structural requirements into overall project designs.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for construction documentation.
  • Review and evaluate contractor proposals, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during the implementation phase.
  • Preparation of project technical plans and specifications.
  • Performs project field works and site inspections, oversees and evaluates manpower, materials, equipment, budget, controls, construction progress, quality, accomplishment, and safety at the project site
  • Take immediate action on construction issues and concerns in construction operations, quality, regulatory, and safety.
  • Verify compliance with design specifications and quality requirements.
  • Familiar with residential and commercial construction, structural and finishing.
  • Knowledgeable in estimate, costing, technical report preparation, administrative duties.
  • Willing to travel and work on site.
