Job Description:

  • Review documents generated by ROW Team, Land Acquisition Team and land consolidators for the acquisition of land and land rights, ensuring that these are in accordance with law and corporate policies and procedure, and are generally in order. Make recommendations where applicable.
  • Assist field team in the negotiation with project affected persons as may be required/needed as well as in the resolution of legal queries/issues subject to clearance/approval of Legal Manager, Immediate Superior or ACEN Legal, as applicable.
  • Assists in the management of land documents within the group.
  • Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the Head or Management.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor or at least 3rd year law student.
  • Preferably a graduate or a holder of Juris Doctor or at least a third-year law student with experience in acquisition of land and land rights, titling and similar land transactions, and has experience liaising with DENR or LRA on land matters;
  • Computer literate and knowledgeable and/or willing to learn computer applications required for the job;
  • Good communication (oral and written in English and Filipino) skills.
