Bookkeeper

Bookkeeping & Financial Records: Manage the complete cycle of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.

BIR Compliance: Prepare, review, and file various mandatory tax returns with the BIR, including but not limited to:

• Monthly/Quarterly VAT Returns (Form 2550M/Q)
• Monthly/Quarterly Withholding Tax Returns (Forms 0619E, 1604C/E, 1601C)
• Annual Income Tax Returns (Form 1701/1702)
• Prepare Alphalist submissions

Taxation Management: Calculate and reconcile various taxes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to avoid penalties

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet/Income Statement)

Audit Preparation: Assists with external audits and BIR examinations, providing necessary documentation and explanations

Qualifications:

• proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) as a bookkeeper, accounting assistant, or similar role
• demonstrated expertise in Philippine BIR tax compliance and reporting is a must
• familiarity with various accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, Xero, SAP B1, etc.)
• strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
• a degree in Accountancy is highly preferred
• amenable to work Monday to Friday from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM to cover US time zone
• willing to work on site at Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan
