Accountant / Bookkeeper

Bookkeeping and Financial Records: Manage the complete cycle of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, account receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.

BIR Compliance: prepare, review, and file various mandatory tax returns with the BIR, including but not limited to:

• Monthly/Quarterly VAT Returns (Form 2550M/Q)
• Monthly/Quarterly Withholding Tax Returns (Forms 0169E, 1604C/E, 1601C)
• Annual Income Tax Returns (Forms 1701/1702)
• Prepare Alphalist submission

Taxation Management: Calculate and reconcile various taxes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to avoid penalties

Government Compliance: Handle other government remittances and reports (e.g. SSS, Philhealth, Pag-IBIG)

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet/Income Statement)

Audit Preparation: Assists with external audits and BIR examinations, providing necessary documentation and explanations

Qualifications:

• proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) as bookkeeper, accounting assistant or similar role
• demonstrated expertise in Philippine BIR tax compliance and reporting is a must
• familiarity with various accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, Xero, SAP B1, etc.)
• strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
• a degree in Accountancy is highly preferred
• amenable to work Monday to Friday from 5AM to 1PM to cover US and PH time zones
• willing to work on site at Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan

Pay: Php25, Php28,000.00 per month
