Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager

Job Overview: The Assistant Finance Manager will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of EPS Consultants. This position involves assisting the Finance Manager in various accounting activities, managing financial reports, performing budget analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and excellent analytical skills, able to contribute to the financial strategy of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, including cost analysis and budget variances.
  • Support the finance team in the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Monitor and report on cash flow, assisting in cash management and financial forecasting.
  • Assist in the implementation of financial controls and processes to optimize efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, irregularities, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and collaborate with external auditors during audit processes.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required by senior management.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on managerial support preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and practices.
  • Knowledge & Key Skills: Must have Intercompany experience, IFRS, GAP, Treasury, Variances
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
