Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Planning: Develop detailed plans, specifications, and designs for civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, water supply, and wastewater infrastructure.
- Project Management: Manage and supervise the progress of civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Site Evaluation: Conduct site assessments, surveys, and inspections to determine project feasibility and compliance with environmental and zoning regulations.
- Technical Analysis: Perform structural, hydraulic, geotechnical, and traffic flow analysis to support the planning and design of infrastructure projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, urban planners, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives are met.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, and adhere to safety standards and quality assurance practices.
- Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects and track expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and other project documentation to communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field .
- Experience: years of experience in civil engineering, including experience in project design, management, and execution.
- Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in civil engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
- Knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
