Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager, you are required to project-manage overall aspects of integrated marketing communication projects for your allocated set of clients which include from conceptualization and see through the execution to implementation of projects. Other responsibilities will include working closely with and providing support to your immediate supervisor, in managing your clients' portfolio, in terms of, client-servicing, maintaining and expanding on existing clients' business and to resolve clients' escalations and issues. You will provide support to your immediate supervisor whenever required for newly acquired accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Servicing and Project Management
- Brainstorm and develop concepts and ideas with relevant colleagues so that new ideas or solutions can be proposed to clients
- Establish, maintain and strengthen the relationship and built stronger rapport with existing and new clientele, work closely together with your immediate supervisor to achieve this objective
- Establish, maintain and strengthen the relationship and built stronger rapport with suppliers
- Manage and moderate client expectations
- Develop stronger presence with existing clientele
- Ensure client satisfaction and prompt delivery of services in providing quality and value-added services and solutions at all times
- Maintain client communication by keeping clients posted on project developments, additional costs, specification changes, deliverables to countries, etc.
- Good negotiation skills are required with clients and suppliers
- Manage the overall progress and development of accounts and projects
- Take briefs from clients, understand, clarify and manage client's requirements
- Research and determine the best supplier to be engaged for the project
- Manage quotations and billings related to suppliers and clients
- Hands-on involvement in project management is a must, such as writing project briefs, creative evaluation and work with creative team on revise visuals, proof-read and copy-edit drafts, conduct press checks and QC of final deliverables, make logistical and fulfillment arrangements for projects
- Supervise project execution throughout project duration, keeping track of timelines and ensure timely completion of projects
- Manage and overcome project challenges and issues together with your immediate supervisor
Business Development
- Ability to recognize potential business opportunities
- Establish new business leads amongst existing clientele
- Ability to extract and provide content to immediate supervisor when requested in accordance of business pitches or proposals requirements
- Ability to write and develop business proposals and business presentations with guidance from immediate supervisor or seniors in the team
- Ability to deliver face-to-face presentations if required
- Ability to introduce and expand the range of service offerings to existing clients in widening our portfolio of services
Team's Revenue Turnover
- Achieve your clients' allocated budget targets by working closely and develop effective business plans with your immediate supervisor
- Responsible for the allocated accounts' profitability through high revenue turnover, high margins projects and expansion of services and solutions offerings to clients
- Manage the clients' budgets and monthly expenditure reporting together with your immediate supervisor
- Ensure that all project-related costing and client invoicing are completed duly and diligently on a regular basis
Staff Management
- Provide support to the team by coaching and guiding of existing and new colleagues
- Guide, supervise and motivate staff towards delivering quality work and services
Ad Hoc/Others
- Any ad hoc/other matters assigned
Qualifications:
- Degree/ Diploma in Business, Marketing or related
- Minimum 10 years' of relevant experience in marketing or project management, preferably from a marketing agency background, with at least 4 years working at a manager level within an outsource client partnership model within an FMCG marketing services agency/printing/point of sale/promotional items management environment
- Proven experience in BTL marketing
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Passion for clientele servicing to provide quality service
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in business development/ developing marketing proposals will be an added advantage
