Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute SAP Basis technical activities, including installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, system refreshes, and performance tuning.
  • Manage and maintain SAP systems and landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
  • Provide end-to-end support for SAP technical components, ensuring system health, performance, and availability.
  • Coordinate and execute implementation, roll-out, and upgrade projects, ensuring alignment with client standards and timelines.
  • Handle user administration, transport management, client copies, and system monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional, development, infrastructure) for seamless system operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP Basis issues efficiently.
  • Manage system copies, kernel upgrades, and patch management.
  • Document all Basis configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead or contribute to cloud-based SAP deployments (Azure/AWS/GCP) when applicable.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, focused on a single module (not scattered across modules).

  • Proven experience in:

  • Implementation projects: (Specify how many and your role in each)

  • Roll-out projects: (Specify how many and your role in each)
  • Technical support or upgrade projects: (Specify how many and your role in each)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HANA database, SAP Solution Manager, Fiori, and SAP NetWeaver architecture.
  • Expertise in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience handling end-to-end SAP Basis activities independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent understanding of OS/DB migrations, system landscape planning, and backup/recovery strategies.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and integration with on-premise systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA conversion/migration projects.
  • Experience in SAP security administration and change management processes.
  • Certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate (Basis/HANA) are an advantage.
